New Reading Of The Mayan Calendar Shows The World Is Going To End Next Sunday
Well, at this point I really wouldn’t be surprised.
COVID-19, locusts, volcanic eruptions, worldwide civil unrest, and massive storms. And 2020 isn’t even halfway over yet. Just to make it more interesting, someone has gone and reworked the math on the Mayan calendar.
If you remember, the Mayan calendar was originally shown to end on Dec. 21, 2012. The world didn’t end, some people were disappointed.
In a since deleted tweet, scientist Paolo Tagaloguin reportedly said: “Following the Julian Calendar, we are technically in 2012. The number of days lost in a year due to the shift into Gregorian Calendar is 11 days. For 268 years using the Gregorian Calendar (1752-2020) times 11 days = 2,948 days. 2,948 days / 365 days (per year) = 8 years”.
With this math, June 21, 2020 would actually be December 21, 2012.
If this is correct, we have a week. Make it count.
