Naples, Florida, is preparing to welcome its first-of-a-kind attraction, the Great Wolf Lodge, which is set to open on September 18, 2024. It’s at 3900 City Gate Blvd., near I-75 and Collier Boulevard. This big project will make family trips in Southwest Florida more exciting. It’s the 21st location in North America. The site is on 20 acres on the east side of Collier County, next to the Paradise Coast Sports Complex.
The Naples establishment offers a wealth of amenities, including 500 family-friendly rooms. The main attraction is its massive 90,000-square-foot indoor water park. The water park stays warm all year, with a temperature of 84 degrees. There are 12 thrilling water slides and six pools for different skills. Two play areas with water are excellent for younger kids. If you like the sun, there’s a quiet outdoor pool area with cabanas. The resort also has a 60,000-square-foot Adventure Park with land activities.
The aquatic attraction has many rides for all ages. Breakaway Bay and Otter Cave Waterworks are fast and fun. Otter Springs is calmer for those who want to relax. The High Paw Roller and Forest Flume are very exciting. Rapid Racer lets friends race each other. Visitors can enjoy the River Canyon Run together. It twists and turns through the park. Slap Tail Pond is like ocean waves. Crooked Creek is a slow river to float on. Chinook Cove and Big Foot Pass round out the water fun. Venturing beyond the water-based attractions, visitors will discover a sprawling 61,000-square-foot adventure park. It’s full of exciting activities for visitors. Howler’s Peak Ropes Course tests how well you can balance. At Oliver’s Mining Co., you can hunt for gems. Ten Paw Alley has bowling that’s excellent for all ages. The Northern Lights Arcade has numerous games. MagiQuest, a unique game found only here, turns the whole resort into a magical world. You can make your own stuffed animal at the Build-A-Bear Workshop. Moonstone Mine Mini Golf is also there for groups to play together.
Culinary options abound at the Naples location, with eight diverse eateries catering to various tastes and preferences. Timbers Table and Kitchen serves expansive meals in a woodsy setting. Wood’s End Creamery has sweet treats. Fireside is cozy for family dinners. The Hungry Wolf Food Hall has many types of food. Freshwoods Markets is quick for busy people. The Tidal Wave and The Outpost have their own unique menus. There’s also a Dunkin Donuts. The establishment has an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. This helps guests start their day with an excellent meal before they go have fun.
