The first-ever FC Fan Fest commences on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, from 3-6 PM at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex Stadium. This no-cost, family-friendly gathering will excite local soccer enthusiasts as they savor flavorful BBQ, explore a refreshing beer garden, and purchase new team merchandise. Want to test your skills? Try the penalty and free kick contests. As music plays, you might even converse with head coach Matt “Gaffa” Poland. It’s a great chance to meet other enthusiasts and show your team spirit.
3rd Annual 9/11 Naples Memorial Stair Climb
As the sun rises on Sunday, September 8th, 2024, the community unites for a poignant tribute: the 3rd Annual 9/11 Naples Memorial Stair Climb. This tribute honors those who died on September 11, 2001. It starts at 7 AM, with an opening ceremony at 8 AM. At 8:46 AM – when the first plane hit the World Trade Center – participants begin climbing. Participants attempt to climb as many of the 110 stories as possible, emulating the brave first responders, and those who register early may receive a commemorative coin. The $50 entry fee helps the Brotherhood Ride group, which supports families of fallen first responders.
Downtown Fort Myers Artwalk
