Thief Steals McDormand’s Oscar Statue
Uproxx, citing USA Today, claims Frances McDormand ‘s Oscar statue was stolen at the Governor’s Ball following the Academy Awards.
She broke down in tears and left with her husband before being reunited with her statue at an In-N-Out Burger. Wolfgang Puck’s personal photographer saw music producer Terry Bryant steal the Oscar before confronting him. The photographer got the Oscar back before Bryant fled. The Blast claims cops found him and charged him with felony grand theft
The NY Daily News claims Bryant paraded Francis’s Oscar trophy around the Governor’s Ball while Facebooking Live. He begged for people to congratulate him on winning the award.
