If you were watching the Super Bowl at home you never would have know that this happened. When the fan ran onto the field the cameras were not on him, and the announcers never mentioned it. It happened shortly after halftime. The Bengals scored a quick touchdown and then got an interception to set up another score. If you were at the game,  you saw an idiot down on the field trying to elude security. Which totally blows. The only reason you’d want to run onto the field during an NFL game would be to get on tv. This dude didn’t get on tv, and he got to go to jail. Actually, I don’t know that.

When a fan in Tampa in a pink leotard went on to the field it was to promote a website. That man was charged with misdemeanor trespassing. The laws in California are much different than they are in Florida. It’s quite possible that this person wasn’t charged at all.

This guy got off waaaaaay too easy. When a fan ran onto the field during a Bills Chiefs game a few weeks ago, one of the players took him out.
