This Weekend A Disturbance Will Bring Wind, Rain And A Possible Tornado To Tampa
It may or may not develop into a storm, but the area of low pressure over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico will bring wind, rain and possibly a tornado to Tampa this weekend. According to the Tampa Bay Times, “The system over the Bay of Campeche moving northeast over the Gulf has an 80-percent chance of tropical development over the next two-to-five days.” They say if it develops into a tropical or subtropical storm it will named Nestor. The strongest winds will come Friday night into Saturday afternoon.
