This is the first of two supermoons we’ll see this year. The next one is, next month, May 26th. But that will be the last one this year. According to NASA the supermoon in May could appear slightly larger, as the one next month will have the moon at about 98 miles closer to earth than the full moon we just witnessed. I tried to take a picture last night but it’s kind of blurry. Here’s some professional supermoon pictures taken from all around the globe:
