Video: Fort Lauderdale Homeowner Opens Fire On Burglars

A Fort Lauderdale homeowner caught two would-be burglars stealing a high end pressure washer from his carport and confronted the two men with his gun. The homeowner didn’t know if the men were armed and fired at them, striking one.  According to Local 10, the injured man made his way to a local car dealership and asked for help. Police identified him as 19-year-old Withmark Polycarpe who suffered a non life threatening gun shot wound.

The second robber spotted in the surveillance video has not been identified and is still at large. Check out the video of the incident below:
