Sanibel May Permanently Ban Alcohol On Their Beaches
The city had placed a temporary ban on alcohol over the summer, citing COVID as the reason. Now the city is considering making the ban permanent.
The acting mayor of Sanibel told wink news “We have had experiences, 20 or 30 people gathering on a beach, setting up a bar with tables, with beer kegs and whiskey bars on tables on the beach, causing, tracking a lot of people, noise, music.”
The city is meeting today to discuss the issue.
