Yesterday it finally happened. It opened. It is the world’s largest White Castle and it opened Monday  near Walt Disney World in Orlando. And like Disney World, sometimes the wait can be a bit much. Ya’ll, people were waiting in line for four hours to get some.

As you can see in the video, police were needed to help maintain traffic.  According to the Orlando Sentinel, White Castle opened at 8:30 am yesterday with people waiting in line. The restaurant’s current hours are 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. and looks to go 24 hours sometime in the future.

Because of the tremendous crowds, the Orlando White Castle has a 60 slider limit.

Like most people in this town, Joe Winner hails from the Midwest. Ohio. When not on the air, you’ll find Joe all over town supporting community events and various charities and handing out fun stuff to all the people. Joe’s on-air features include “Joe’s Meals On Wheels” serving up free lunch, and “Intermission” where the listeners have to name the correct movie of the day to win fantastic prizes.
