Frye Festival Attendees Will Receive $7,220 Each In Settlement
The people that attended the infamous Fyre Festival back in 2017 are about to get paid. A settlement has finally been reached almost 4 years later.
According to The New York Times, the Frye Festival that was suppose to take place in the Bahamas nearly 4 years ago but actually just left 277 people stranded on the beach are going to receive a pay out for their nightmare experience. A $2 million class-action settlement was reached on Tuesday and the ticket holders are expected to receive $7,220 each. The amount could drop and is still waiting on approval.
We can’t even imagine how awful that experience could of been for everybody who paid a lot of money for a “luxury,” music festival and instead experienced a nightmare. We hope that something like this never happens again.
