Marco Island Is Getting License Plate Scanners
There will be license plate readers installed in Marco Island. This is being done to help the safety of the community.
According to NBC 2, the whole purpose of installing license plate readers is to protect the safety of the community. There are three main bridges in Marco Island Jolley, Minozzi and Gober which allows access into the city. This new device will also be able to count vehicles which should be helpful when it comes to evacuating for an emergency.
Hopefully this all works out well in Marco Island. It’s crazy to think how advanced technology has come.
