Barefoot Beach Project Is On Hold Due To Turtle Nesting
We love this time of year! When it’s turtle nesting time but it is causing a delay in some up coming projects.
According to NBC 2, the Barefoot Beach construction project is on hold. There is a shortage in supplies nationwide so they did not get to start on time. Now because of turtle nesting season the county will have to wait till November to finish the project. This comes from the Florida Department Of Environmental Protection. Turtle season happens every year from now through October.
If there wasn’t a shortage in supplies the project could of taken off already. But all in due timing. At least the turtles will be safe.
