Police In Cape Coral Are Adding Six New License Plate Readers
This sounds like a good thing. The police department in Cape Coral are getting six new license plate readers.
According to NBC 2, Cape Coral police will be getting six new license plate readers. The $100,000 cost is being covered by a Florida Department Of Law grant, not taxpayers wallets. There are two intersections that the new license plate readers will go up at, Pine Island Road at Pondella Road and NE 24th Avenue.
It’s crazy how six new license plate readers can cost $100,000. That’s a lot of money but if it keeps the crime down and saves lives then its a win.
