Glass Bottle Shortage
Oh no! There’s a glass bottle shortage and that can affect some of our favorite drinks.
According to NBC 2, the glass bottle shortage is the latest shortage that’s happening due to the pandemic. It’s making it difficult to ship and store alcohol for places like bars, distilleries and breweries. Even places locally are being affected like the Wicked Dolphin Distillery in Cape Coral. They went ahead and ordered an abundance of glass bottles to try and stay ahead of the shortage. They currently get their glass bottles from manufactures in Mexico and Arkansas. Labor shortages are the reason why there are glass shortages and could make some of your favorite brands not available in the future.
Whoa that’s crazy how some of our favorite drinks that come in bottles might not available in the future. Stocking up might be a good idea until the shortage ends.
