Punta Gorda School Closes Due To Staffing Shortage
Teachers are in demand. The shortage of teachers is affecting a school in Punta Gorda.
According to NBC 2, there is a shortage in teachers and a school in Punta Gorda had to close down. Babcock Neighborhood School made the announcement that they will temporarily close. This is because of a staffing shortage. The school will close today Monday August 16th but they will reopen on Wednesday August 25th. There will be makeup days and they are October 18-21 and March 14-17.
We appreciate all the teachers and all their hard work. We hope that this teacher shortage ends soon.
