A Couple of Bears Made Their Way Into A Golden Gates Estates Backyard
Watch out for bears in the Golden Gate Estates. Thankfully nobody was hurt but trash was scattered everywhere.
According to NBC 2, some bears had cut a hole into a fence and made their way into a Golden Gate Estates backyard. When the homeowner woke up they found that bears had gotten into their trash cans. It’s being recommended by Florida Fish and Wildlife experts for people that live in the Golden Gates Estates to get bear resistant trash cans. That’s because bears can smell an odor more than a mile away and once when they find food they will keep coming back more.
Well, glad that everybody is ok. And I am scared of bears, hopefully I never see one myself here in SWFL lol! J/s
