Fort Myers Beach New Traffic Signal Construction Begins
Next time you head to Fort Myers Beach there will be construction for the new traffic signal going on. So just be on the look out.
According to NBC 2, the construction for the new traffic signal began on Monday. The new traffic signal is going to be at the intersection of Old San Carlos and Estero Blvd in Fort Myers. It has reportedly cost an estimated $776,511 and (LAP) which stands for The Local Agency Program through the (FDOT) Florida Department Of Transportation paid for the project. Expect minor delays and the traffic signal is expected to be done by the end of 2021.
There will be lane closures and delays so just be aware of your surroundings. Also don’t speed, it’s not worth a ticket.
