If you live in Collier County, officials are asking people to conserve on water. They just want you to be smart and protect your water resources.

According to NBC 2, Collier County residents are being asked to conserve water. They want people to be smart when doing everyday things like using sprinklers to water you grass. Make sure that it is watering your yard and not the pavement and do not have them running between 10am and 4pm. They are also asking residents who live with odd number addresses to water their grass on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. And if your address is an even number then you can water your grass Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. You can also do things like check to make sure that your rain sensor is working properly and remind residents that irrigation is not allowed on Fridays.

I think these are all very helpful ideas to help people conserve on water. We can all do our part and still have a safe and fun summer here in SWFL.
