It’s back to school time for SWFL. And although Lee County School District is being required to wear mask, Collier County Students will not have too.

According to NBC 2, Today Tuesday August 10th students will kick off the school year in Collier County. You will not be required to wear a mask however, it’s strongly suggested by district and health officials that students and teachers wear one. There will be social distancing and sanitizing stations set up through out the school. Students will also social distance on the school bus as well as have the windows open to increase ventilation and let air in.

We hope that all the students have a great first day back and a great school year! Stay safe, be kind and do what you think is best for you weather you choose to wear a mask or not.
